Has anyone else seen the pbs documentary "The Natural History of the Chicken"? I thought it was really funny, but I'd like to know the opinion of someone who actually keeps chickens.

I keep chickens - 22 in fact - oops -- only 20 now - we ate our first ones last week ... I'm never buying supermarket chicken again ... have turkey eggs in the incubator at the moment too.

Yesterday my one-eyed chicken ("Winky") got eaten by a racoon. They free-range in the daytime and I forgot to lock them up, so a 'coon got her out of the coop.
It sucks to lose a chicken, but it really sucks when it's your own fault!

i had two ducks about three years or so ago they were both domestic drakes one was a peaking duck and the other i have no clue they kind of reminded me of laurel and hardie one was real tall and skinny and the other the peaking was a short fat bumbling mess
