What of the chances of it being B. lica? You said that it looked different than the thai goonches (which are rutilus in my opinion) you seen, and that's about the same area from what I know. B. suchus seems very elongated compared the other goonch species. That leaves only two other southeast Asian species B. lica and the dwarf. I can't find any info about lica, but I can't find a great deal of info about the dwarf. So what do you think?
Don't know why I didn't think to mention it before, but Roberts (1983) was kind enough to give us a picture of a Thai "yarrelli" that just so happened to be in a picture with another "yarrelli" thats really a rutilus.
