Choosing an arowana

Ok so if I get a leichardti then should I get a tank 3ft or 2ft wide?

Get a 3ft, a 2ft wide would only be good for growing out

I have a jar and I love him, tons of personality, not jumpy, a bit aggressive, but overall a great fish. He's about 24" View attachment 1057905

It looks like he's on his own so must be fairly aggressive
If he does have tank mates it looks like they hide well away

I forgot to ask, is there an obvious difference between JardinI and leichardti arowana from a young age? And justhe in general?

Lei's have spots on each individual scale and are much lighter in colour than jardini , Lei's also look more slender than jardini especially when juvenile , imo jardini have a much deeper head and chunkier tail
