Kolt, how have the Armatus doing with your gar and each other? Are they off live food?

Only the Shortnose is off live he's eating whatever hits the water. Cichlid Gold, Massivore, Silversides pretty much anything he see's the others eating he's all over it. The Gars and Armatus live in total harmony. The Armatus only chase each other when one crosses into the other's territory and it's just a warning snap, not a full on chase like a cichlid might do. Plus the Gars have improved greatly in the hunting department so it's much easier making sure everyone gets fed. I'll update soon in the Gar forum the Shortnose is growing out nicely, though he still doesn't retain the bulky appearance of the Florida's they just come off as thicker. This is despite the fact that he is by far the best fed of all of them seeing as he it's whatever live he can catch and all those pellets. After feedings he looks like a sac of potatoes all mis-shapen and lumpy. Lol!
