Whats that probe in the sump for?

Whats that probe in the sump for?

Probe? The little thing on the righ bottom?

A sensor to see if water isn't sufficient and shuts off pump before runs dry and burn.

I'm still missing another filter pad I was suppose to put in between.
And then a acrylic sheet on too of the rings then put the sump on top.
Then ready to run.
