The owner of the LFS brought these in couple months ago as "WC Kelberis". He only brought in only 2 and they are now at about 4"-5". I always questioned it being WC Kels because we havent seen Kels at a smaller size for a while now. Like some people said its most likely bahias. Thing that confused me is that they look nothing like the bahias that i have which are about the same size.

Are you thinking of firing on those bad boys? :D

What are you waiting for revival? They have had them for a long time, are they way overpriced? How can you tell the difference between bahia and ordinary kels?

Yeah he brought them in pretty tiny at $180. The owner of the LFS doesnt really know much about cichla and specializes in other fish so its not something i wanted to pull the trigger on right away. Baby wild Kels seem to be extinct for now so its most likey bahias and im not really looking for more right now. Only cool thing would be if they really are bahias, its probably from different parents and would I would be curious to see how they turn out.

I am gonna go with a educated guess and im thinking either kelbs or mono
