I seen your mono, A nice one to. Mono's will go through a phase were the black lateral line from the third bar to the end of the tail will break apart, that will look like a "forth" bar/spot.

Never say never Bass mike i believe the pic right above this reply seems to have spots /spangle in the to fin Bro;)And thats a Mono...

Well you didn't raise the mono from a fry, so saying that really doesn't mean much.

And yes, mono's do get spots on the rear of their dorsals when young. I have raised a few mono's to 12" and around 6-8" they had those spots.

x2 spots or no spots on the dorsal doesnt mean anything
