one of the kels starting to show some real flipper spangle which prompted some snapshots. used to think Pbass were boring but they've grown on me. The more you look, the more you see. I like how the juvi fish morph, sometimes by the week. Here's my collection so far. Holding tanks, final tank's not ready.

about 6inches. it's the most spangled kel in the lot. The first spangle on pelvic fins appeared about a month ago and kept on coming. Other 8inch kels haven't started. Couple of the 4" kels already have solid spangling on anal fin, one has a single spot on pelvic. I see no identifiable pattern as to when and why spangles appear accept that it is the alpha fish, and thus eats the most. Also has the most red eye of the kel group.

got 6 from them, yea only they have them in this size. (at the moment anyways) I've heard China/taiwan have already received their batches. and jeff rapps sent shipments to both macau and HK. so should prices come off, good time to pick up more.
