cichla seem to be much easier to train than the payaras I've kept before.. where are everyone else's Sp. Xingu?? I know they're lurking around here somewhere :)

I just picked up 4 from there today. I'm local and thought they looked great. Wish I could have bought one of the Black arowana but no go in Florida.

Thanks for stopping by the store today, Mike helped you with the purchase. But you picked up 4 temensis, not sp. Rio Xingus.....the Rio Xingus are $125 each not $30 so I think your wallet would have noticed a difference :)

As for grow out pictures of these, two groups of 6 were sold to a collector in FL and one in CA. Last time I checked with them they had grown the fish out and put them in small ponds and its not feasible to catch them back out to take a photo. Hopefully a few others who have them can chime in with updated pictures.
