Ostrava, Czech Republic
Bought as Krobia itany, German bred.
I think they could be Cichlasoma portalegrense or Cichlasoma amazonarum.
Any idea how to distinguish these 2 species? Or it could be some other specie?

The middle picture looks like it has only 3 hard anal fin spines, which would leave out amazonarum. There are several 3 spine species, of which portalegrense is one if I remember right. But I'm not good enough with the group to nail down which specific one it might be.

You might ask a mod to move it to the CA/SA folder, there are few peeps there that keep port cichlids and might be able to give you an ID.

Yeah, the bottom picture of the two new ones you added it does look more like four, but I wasn't sure enough to post. Counting of course would be more definitive. With the four rays and your last pic, amazonarum seems a solid pick.
