...so what happened to these guys?

Heard Conkel kept the only two that made it through shipping.

Any pics of them to confirm their identity? ...or will it all remain clouded in mystery (a single picture of a stressed fish)?

I haven't seen or heard anything about these fish. The Atromaculatum are for sale out there though through a couple vendors.

Nice. Atromaculatum are a very under rated fish. Pretty, but overlooked by most when compared to the ornatum.

They're still hella expensive though but you are right. I dig them both.

Got a trio of Atromaculatum from Conkel along with some 8" umbees . I'm happier than a fat kid in a bakery . They came in yesterday . The Ornatum have some really messed up fins right now . We will know in about 3 weeks if the fins will grow back .
