Have been reading around for a large tankmate, 12-16" mark for the stock list in my signature. have thought about Pearsi but I have read that its CA which I am unsure of their aggression and whether or not it will look out of place with my SA stock. was trying to keep it SA but i will put a single CA in as most people i know wont know the difference anyway.
if anyone else can think of another large 12-16" tank mate for my sig fish then please feel free to share. the only catch is that it MUST BE PEACEFUL due to my Uaru A.
while i wait for replies i will be doing more digging around.

It doesn't get as large as you want, but a chocolate cichlid is a good choice, being relatively peaceful and South American
 
have thought about chocolates but as you say they aret as large as i would like. by chocolate do you mean Hypselecara temporalis?


any other suggestions?
 
they're expensive, but how about true parrots?
 
very expensive again. £30-£60 here. they have crossed my mind and im sure they would look great but I have read about possible aggression issues against weaker fish like uarus, sevs etc. and its a very expensive fish to have to get rid of.
have found a fish called BACOURTI?? any experiences with these?

by chocolates I do mean H. temporalis. I have a bocourti, but it is growing out, so can't really help with info. Got the fish from Onion a couple weeks ago
 
i also thought about an O but i know they can be some what bi-polar and its very random as to whether you get a wimp or demon.
i think im gonna go with either:
Pearsi - CA
Chocolate (Tempolaris) - SA
Bocourti - CA or SA? and depending if someone can give me actual info on their experiences with this fish as the net seems to be as unreliable as ever when it comes to info.

well if your looking for something Ca i would go with a bocourti or pearsi, i keep them with my sevs and they do great, other wise if you want something Sa then get chocolates or maybe chuco's
 
I have a 12" male bocourti, awesome fish, fairly docile but is the head of the tank , doesnt take anything from 7-8" cuban, heterospilud, and snook but never damages anyone, super appetite!!
