I wouldn't do a Urau with a Pearsi either. Although gentle, Pearsi would pick on the Urau. I love my Pearsi. He is the most personable fish I own and really looks farward to seeing me at feeding time. I tend to play games with him on the glass. My Bocourti is every bit as big as my Pearsi and I've actually heard the Bocourt get bigger. I would do the Pearsi for sure If I were you.

thanks for the suggestion but from what i gather about pearsi not being compatible then i highly doubt a vieja syn would work. nice fish though and i can see why you suggested it. my lfs has one and if it was compatible i would have it.
as you can see from my sig im gonna go with 2 chocolate cichlids and increase the uaru shoal to 6 from a planned 4.

you made a great choice, chocolates are great cichlids. I had an f1 I got from Rapps that was spectacular.
