I think the picture is insufficient to identify the fish.
Fine. You go ahead and post another.

BTW, you have the habit of typing only the species name, without the genus name. For instance, "facetum" and "atromaculatum". I think you should be more accurate when identifying fish, don't you agree?

It is NOT facetum. It seems that Singaporeans are simply despised by the West, just because the majority of them are extremely poor in English. I belong to the minority. Please try to identify the fish in the pic I posted before moving on, unless you consider me, a Singaporean, unworthy of any respect on a American/British-dominated forum.

I just caught the tail end of this, but it seems like you have a chip on your shoulders...especially for this forum. Lot of mixed nationalities here and I've never seem any prejudice to one or the other. Please take a calming breath and enjoy your stay.

Second thing...this thread is for fun. Whether or not a genus name is printed isn't really critical. We all know what's being said.

That aside, I am going to take a stab at your fish and say it's Aequidens pallidus. And it would be helpful to see th entire fish. But as I said...it's just a game...so either way...no big deal.
