Ive used all kinds of Hikari and seen some pretty decent results from using them often...and ive recently been using New Life Spectrum but my Male Managuense has been only eating its right now...and all my catfishes and ive noticed my managuenses coloration has deepened and showed alot more blue now with better lighting...and now waiting on the arrival of my Hikari Massivore Delight pellets on Thursday...=] so i can't wait and see if they give any great results as the other Hikari products! OSI products have some pretty good results themselfs. Uhmm and Omega One Pellets are really clean and don't break up in the mouth of the cichlid like other products do and is much more productive in giving better colorations and growth like some Hikari products =D

all the foods mentioned above are pretty good
unless we conduct some experiment in which we had a bunch of juveniles from the same batch, each being fed different foods but each given the same care (i.e. water changes, temperature, tank set up etc.) would you know if there was some food that was indeed superior to others haha
maybe this 'study' has been done, but i haven't read about it yet... all those foods above are good in their nutritional content. some have higher protein %, more of this, less of that, etc.
