My spotted Raphael has been inadvertently relocated a few times due to his recalcitrant behavior over the years, he is now fifteen and a major reason I have reduced acclamation time compared to years past

Lost the fish I think it was all the stress from cracking the rock open that did him in.

Bust the decor gently and get him out now! just had to do this with a pleco in a shell!

those little &*^!"£$! live for ages lol, I bought a fully grown adult that I kept for 8 years; who showed no signs of slowing down before I relocated him.

Sorry for your loss, that sucks
I don't think getting him out killed him though unless the process damaged him significantly
How long was he trapped in there

Maybe 3-4 hrs I think it was partly stress but mainly damage from him franticly trying To escape and then from me busting the rock apart with a hammer. when I first got him out he looked supper beat up and swam like his swim blatter was broken I was just being hopeful at first but I had a feeling he wasn't going to make it
