Got a 40 gallon 3foot long and i need some help with stocking ideas i want fish thank around 4-6 inches. Also i need to know how many i can have of each so ya. Oh and plz try to have some type of variety with colors. thx in advance

My vote is for some Cutteri! They are very neat little fish.

Any kind of peacock gets around 6" maybe 3 or 4

No. Cutteri, HRP, Myrnae and Convicts while being closely related are different species in the genus Cryptoheros.

And I highly recommend Cutteri, Dogofwar has both those and HRPs for sale
