with that sized tank, I'd look in to a nice Bolivian Ram community with some plants and drift wood. You'll have a few different color variants, you don't have to worry about them outgrowing the tank size, and they are usually rather active
Thanks for the info!! What are your thoughts on angelfish in that type of tank?If you want blue cichlids, you might want a group of Pseudotropheus de masoni.
But just a group of maybe 6 of those would be the limit for a small tank like that.
