yeah. Dont even try. It's as simple as: the green one is male and red one is female. But they have to grow up enough for their colors to stand apart.

totally true!!!! i raised a male from 3/4 inch to 13 inches!!!! i didnt see any signs until about 4 inches.
 
Thanks guys I really appreciate the help i have had em for about 3 or 4 months its killing me i hope one is a female.. these were the last two in the store when I got em. I wanted to buy about 5 but they never had anymore festaes since that day

and the big long bold black on the dorsal. If you ever see that coming out, it is a female. It must be long and whole like that!!
I had a female with that trait came out at about 4.5"
