Ehh EVERYONE loves a Fuente feunte opus x. It's consistantly voted best cigar in the world. That's like saying "I really like the macallan scotch". I love opus x too guys but I was looking for what people smoke on the weekends and not so much what you break out for special occasions.

And to aquanero, a good drink with a specific body type is necessary to fully enjoy the flavor profile of a fine cigar. There is no threat of derail while discussing a good drink to try as a pairing to your favorite cigar. Cheers!

sorry it these don't count what do yall think of the acid line I have had a couple I like them but I also try to smoke them to fast. what are your thoughts on them.

The only one i had was really bitter. Might have been a bad batch but i hated it

My dad loves the acid cigars. I don't mind them at times, but keep in mind they will ruin your humidor. Purists will say that they smell and taste like potpourri, but whatev. If you like em, you like em. And I often buy them for my brother in law who doesn't like a full bodied cigar.

I would go to cigarsinternational.com and look at their sampler packs. You can choose from mild, medium, and full bodied packages. Of course if you're new to it I would choose the mild package, but that would be boring for my taste. If you're the type of guy who drinks straight scotch or bourbon, your taste buds can handle medium bodied cigars no problem. To the novice however, some full bodied ligero cigars can taste like harsh. As though they were infused with a habanero pepper, and this is normal. You have to work your way up to straight ligero.

Thanks and its awesome that you're learning. Just like fish keeping, you find out so much when your realize its more than keeping a goldfish in a fish bowl. Different locations, different taste. Different leaves on the plant, different taste. Endless possibilities. You'll learn to enjoy the subtle differences in flavor profile.
