No need to buy a humidor if you're not getting serious about keeping them long term. A small cooler and a few silica packets will work just fine. Grab all those silica packets that are shipped in just about everything, rip the bags open and dump all the beads into a shot glass. Pour an ounce of water or so into the glass and the beads will absorb all the water. The beads should keep relative humidity inside the "cool-ador" around 70%, which is optimal. From then on you can just keep the cooler in your pantry or something and the cigars will last for years like that. In fact, the vast majority of cigars will improve with a little age. It's why I have such a large humidor. I don't cut a cigar until I've had it at least 6 months or so.
