No need to buy a humidor if you're not getting serious about keeping them long term. A small cooler and a few silica packets will work just fine. Grab all those silica packets that are shipped in just about everything, rip the bags open and dump all the beads into a shot glass. Pour an ounce of water or so into the glass and the beads will absorb all the water. The beads should keep relative humidity inside the "cool-ador" around 70%, which is optimal. From then on you can just keep the cooler in your pantry or something and the cigars will last for years like that. In fact, the vast majority of cigars will improve with a little age. It's why I have such a large humidor. I don't cut a cigar until I've had it at least 6 months or so.

Ehh EVERYONE loves a Fuente feunte opus x. It's consistantly voted best cigar in the world. That's like saying "I really like the macallan scotch". I love opus x too guys but I was looking for what people smoke on the weekends and not so much what you break out for special occasions.

And to aquanero, a good drink with a specific body type is necessary to fully enjoy the flavor profile of a fine cigar. There is no threat of derail while discussing a good drink to try as a pairing to your favorite cigar. Cheers!

I smoke these cigars on a regular basis. I'm not listing cigars based on a one time smoke.

You really smoke opusX on a regular basis? That would be wonderful but I just can't justify that to the misses.

I find setting dead leaves on fire, bbqing my lungs, giving my cloth the acrid smell of a pickup bar, raising my insurance rates AND draining my wallet of cash needed for my fish hobby to be not very appealing ;)

ordered the deadly dozen

Sweet man hope you like them. And I don't understand the negative posts. If you land on a thread you happen to not like, simply click the back button and move on. There's no reason to leave negativity in your wake. I enjoy cigars. I love the taste, smell, and feel of it. I like the fact that for an hour out of my day I can sit on the back deck with a cigar and a stiff drink and just live. No phone calls, no work worries or family issues. Just me. It brings me peace, and if it costs me a few years off the end of my life, then so be it. Small price to pay for doing what brings you happiness. I wish everyone here happiness in whatever you happen to do, so please don't rain on mine.

Ecoli strikes again. And as far as insurance goes if you limit yourself to 2 cigars a week my insurance actually still considers that not-smoking, if youre bbqing your lungs youre not smoking them right, and my wife smokes cigars and we both like the smell of them too :p
