Yes it is true. Alcohol related deaths are number one out of all drugs. Controlled substances i.e. prescription pills are the second. A close 3rd is meth overdoses, crack cocaine overdoses, heroin...etc....but marijauna not one overdose ever reported, no deaths related directly to the active ingredient...t.h.c. I know someone will wanna argue traffic accidents and yes they are related to marijuana key words though traffic accidents, not traffic fatalities. Now tell me b-4 you take that benzo this morning or afternoon, or that pain pill for your back, or drink a beer...remember those stats on the mfk forum that guy put in front of you??? Now don't you wish you hadn't done any of the before mentioned before you got behind the wheel? I bet your thinking marijuana isn't so bad after all. My LAST 2 cents for this thread.-Tino
 
The Marine Corps lost more Marines to alcohol last year than to the enemy. No. 1 cause of Marine deaths - vehicle accidents (mostly alocohol related) and no. 2 cause - suicide - mostly alcohol related. Alcohol abuse is as bad as any other drug abuse but abuse is the key word.
 
in my opinion smoking and alcohol are just as bad as eachother in the long run. :D

but smoking is really yukky and a massive turn off

I kow I said it was my last 2 cents but how do you justify your reasoning??? When you die unexpectedly and go to the morgue they are gonna do an autopsy and see how you died whether it was alcohol or any other type of drug. They are going to have the same ammount of information on the other drugs as they would with alcohol. Prescription pills kill almost as many people as alcohol does. come on.
 
And I know a lot of people who buy drugs other than alcohol because they are under 21 AND ITS MUCH EASIER FOR THEM TO GET AHOLD OF THAT DRUG BECAUSE OF AMERICAN LAW!!!!!!! Now tell me how constitutional that is.
