Clarias Cat

you think so? That's kind of what I thought given the photos I've seen. Not a batrachus.

How are they temperament wise compared to batrachus?

I'm glad it only gets to 14 inches anyway.

Nicest of the family seems to be Channallabes apus. Very sweet fish. They do get bigger in captivity. I have a friend who has a 16" one, still growing!
I just don't trust the sharp spines the clarius have!

is tit just me or are these THE coolest catfish around, dont get to large, have quite small mouth compared to body size, and can be kept with cichlids

ive kept mine for 8 months now and hes already 9 inches i had him from 1/2 an inch

bad feeding-my clarias batrachus from 7cm to 28cm grows in 75days-feeding with chicken meat,red worm and Hikari pellets for cornivarious fish...
