I don't recall that at all. Looks like an animated version of a star wars transformers mish mash!
On the theme of space, this was my favourite show by far back in the day. I even liked it better than Star Trek!......Who remembers this?
I don’t really remember the show very clearly but I do remember having a toy space ship from the program.
I’d forgotten about it until I just watched this.
Incidently guys, as a young lad I had a huge crush on Barbara Bain who you can see in the opening credits to Space 1999. I also had a crush on Alexandra Bastedo who was in the 70's show, The Champions, another great show.
But rather oddly, and completely inexplicable, I also had a crush on Velma from Scooby doo! I mean she wasn't even the hot one either, that award obviously goes to Daphne. I think I must have been pretty messed up as a kid, lol.

I can understand not knowing of shows that members may quote from other countries, especially if they weren't exported around the world. But we're both from the UK and not too dissimilar in age. I should know these, lol.

I do remember battle of the planets. It used to be aired on Saturday mornings if I remember rightly?
I also remember it was quite ground breaking, to me anyway, because the animation was different to your normal type cartoon, and it was off putting for me, I never really took to it.
Yes it was on Saturday mornings. It had a kind of manga look to it .I loved it.
What about Vicky the Viking ? Do you remember that?
And you must remember the littlest hobo?
