Cleaning a tank

i'd do it for like $200 if i didn't know the person. why can't people clean their own tank? its a responsability that you have to withhold when you own fish. i evjoy cleaning my fishtank once in a while but sometimes its a nuesence.

The same reason that dog walkers exist. All the perks of having the pet, without any of the responsibility.

Billable rate @ $15 / hour x 5hours x 2 people = $150 minimum.

Exactly. If people dont have enough spare time to devote an hour a week to mantainance They should just give up.

mike dunagan I dont see why you couldnt charge $25 an hour to cover the both of yours time and materials.
 
She can not clean them right now... I make 35 hr my self, so I would not work for really less than that. The store she normally uses which was to busy would charge 4 dollars a gallon. I just cut the middle man... It was 350. She set the price... She wanted to pay more but I lowered it. Really if it was less than 200 for the amount of work that goes into her tanks, I would not do it. I glady clean my own tanks.
