cleaning tank w/ out sucking up eggs

now here's part 2 of the question. i know convicts can hold there own, can they hold there own with a 6" painted turtle for a few weeks till i can get him in my summer pond?

nm, i don't think he was gonna bug the fish really, he was just nosie so i set up a temp tank till things warm up. thank god for having extra filters heaters and lights.

Convict eggs are adhesive and laid all together in one spot,it would be work to vaccum them up.once the fry are swimming then it becomes difficult to clean the tank

i agree any way the eggs hatch quickly! and shouldnt be easily dislodged!
