^^^ What about the actual chemicals in the cleaning agent? I would be way more worried about that aspect rather than the oil aspect.

Make a paste out of baking soda and water. And spread that all over the dirty parts. Let it sit for 5 minutes, then scrub with a rag or whatever. That should take off everything except mineral deposits. They can be removed with 50% vinagar 50%water mixture. A flat razor blade will help getting anything thats really stuck on there.
