Cleanup crew for ray tank ??

Not sure about that one, I was lucky enough to find some big ones that someone grew out and brought back to the store...... :)

I'd guess at least as fast as Tinfoils but could be wrong......
 
what would be the diffrence between the yellow fin tinfoil barbs and regular for clean up? or is it just prefrence
 
I heard lemon TF or the gold ones don't eat fish poo.

The TF in my pic posted grow pretty fast. They were 4 inch about 6 weeks ago. They are now 5 to 5.5 inch

They peak at about 10-11 inch.

The gold ones get a bit bigger: 12 inch plus

Orangehead Geos are too small in my experience. I had an awesome group of 15 XL ones (8"+) and they were all eaten by my rays. Tried a couple very large (9-10") S. daemon and they also were eaten. I tried a school of regular silver dollars, rays did not eat them but they did not clean up anything.

I am looking for a decent sized flagtail (fei feng) to try as I have heard decent things about them...and horror stories...

I have noticed my fly river turtle will eat ray poop on occasion...
 
I have a red hook sd and one reg sd. They do ok but they are usually full already when the leftovers start floatin around

any time i add a clean up crew the rays clean them up!
anything under 12" becomes a a meal.

Like that little dat Ade,he looks a good one!:)
 
the red fin TF are great just get a shoal with 1-2 more than you want then one may get killed but the rest of the shoal learn from the loss and stay well clear
 
I have a 12" Flagtail in with mine. Never had a problem with it sucking on the rays and it cleans everything
