Wes's wild caught fish are top notch! All of the bichirs I got from him only a couple months ago are already fully settled into tank life now and the congicus is growing very very fast!

hmmm o.O those Opsariichthys bidens looks like they have a deeper ( taller ? ) body than the possibly zaccos that i have .... interesting.... its weird how they are different specie even though they look so similar O_o

for the burmese trout barb ( guttatus ) ... how come they look different than the ones on http://www.jjphoto.dk/fish_archive/aquarium/raiamas_guttatus.htm .... seems like urs got spots on the gill while the ones in jjphoto have spots on the body ...

so very tempting to get those trout barbs xD they should go nicely with my masheers and zacco ( i hope ._. )

and on the Opsariichthys bidens is based on the photos that you posted, with the hooked jaw, you are right, the ones that I have are taller bodied almost, maybe these are contaminant instead., I don't know have to take a closer look at them. Its either one or the other specie and both are often mixed together.

Here is another picture I got from the internet that looks more like the ones I have now, I wonder if one is Raiamas bola and other guttatus, the information on the internet is so scant...either way these are mean bastards...

:drool::drool::drool: Those Zacco platypus look nice! Any chance of bringing them in Wes?

are you serious...I've had them before, sold some, and people were asking me to sell the only 2 Opsariichthys unicirostris, now I have more Opsariichthys, you're asking for Zacco. When infact, the ones I have now look almost exactly the same when breeding with the exception of a hooked jaw and slightly larger size and at a very reasonable price. Are all hobbyists like this? :nilly:

Wish I had the extra funds for some Polypterus congicus "kayo"........ but I'm being disciplined!

Strophidon sathete???!!! OMG, talk about ]V[onster!!! This species is most likely the largest of the Muranidae eels reaching over 13ft in the wild!!! Gotta check my tank space.

you should check more often. but what i'm trying understand is why are you guys asking for something else when what I have is similar and nicer? just curious., I mean, if I bring in some zaccos are you and the other guy going to buy some right away?

you're talking about the zacco/opsariichthys right? and vertical not horizontal right? either species eventually do get vertical stripes, or the males should. post more pictures of yours here for comparison if you will
