Basically yes. Its sort of a status symbol like a pair of antlers on a moose or the mane on a lion. Lets the other males know who not to mess with and the females to know who's the best.

looks like a kamfa with the shape of the face and fins, but that flower line extending to the face puts the id off and says kamfa malau. any one more positive with the id
