  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo

Yes seriously.

before we get further into this debate
please tell me about your education, I would like to know if it is even worth engaging ( I already have an idea tho)
:)
also, please then , explain the phenomena that I described above.
"You are entitled to your own opinion, but not your own facts"

You and your high and mighty attitude have no need to know my education. You are not worth my time as you would rather listen to BS than real science.

I will say again, there is zero evidence that supports MAN MADE global warming. There is evidence that supports global change but no evidence that supports the idea that it is man made. The earth has always undergone a natural cycle. Hell the earth at one point in time was nearly 100% ice. Only the equator wasn't completely covered. I believe, as the evidence supports, that the earth is just going in its natural cycle. Has nothing to do with man.

Done!! I'm out!!

There is little to no proof we've caused "global warming"

There is little to no proof, that if limiting our carbon imprint will "improve" "global warming"
(a very high percent of carbon in the air is caused naturally, by fires/animals)

This is comparing apples and oranges. Regardless of how much carbon is put out by organisms respirating, or fires burning, this was carbon that was taken from the air to begin with, and is simple going in circles. The carbon we're putting out has been sequestered for millions of years and is only now being released in massive amounts into the atmosphere.

In addition to that, it isn't just the carbon we put out that'll cause the warming. Cyclical global warming and cooling events throughout the earth's history simply needed a small trigger to a positive feedback loop. The amount of carbon we've put out may be relatively small, but anything that raises temperature, even a little bit, will set off a chain reaction that will warm the planet more and more, ie, in Siberia the melting ice is thawing out millions of square miles of marshes, which release methane, which is also a greenhouse gas, which causes more warming, and so on.

I thought you just said 'you were out'
LOL
OK, if you;re still in..show me one link...anything, that scientifically supports your opinion

I do not need to support my theory. As you are making the outrageous claims, you are the one that needs to provide evidence.

so we have had:
a hurricane hitting the coast of Brazil, first time ever.
massive floods in Queensland Australia, followed by a massive cyclone with 180+mph winds .
Snowiest winter on record in the US north east and in Europe. Meanwhile the warmest winter for 2000 years ( as far as precise measurements can be made) at the north pole.
Massive drought in Norther China, crippling their winter wheat harvest.
Massive drought in the Amazon.
Greenland ice sheets melting at rapid pace.
Himalayan ice caps melting at rapid pace.
Alps ice caps melting at rapid pace.
Bleaching of coral reefs and fish stocks crashing as oceans warm and as they become more acidic due to CO2 adsorbtion.
Rising sea levels.
Malaria and other diseases appearing in areas where they were previously unknown.
Record heat in Russia.
Crop diseases spreading to areas where they were previously unknown.
etc etc.
So...someone please explain why is this happening when the planet should be cooling as our eliptical orbit takes us further away from the sun?

just asking, as apparently whatever we humans do has no effect, according to some.
This is not about politics, this is about science and data

Remember the global warming scientist have been saying the temperature has gone up 1 degree(on average)in the last century. So I am suppose to believe 1 degree caused all that?

"massive floods in Queensland Australia, followed by a massive cyclone with 180+mph winds . "

Well it is the rainy season...

Also QLD gets about 6 cyclone type events per season... 3 more to come. :p

One degree average global temperature is not the same as one degree warmer between 9:00am and 10:00am locally. One degree warmer, on a global scale means some places get a lot warmer, and some a lot colder. This is caused by many reasons, including land warming up more rapidly than water, and the specific heat of water. Since many air and water currents are dictated by temperature differences, and since many storms are caused by variations of air and water currents, then yes, that degree can have a large impact.
