Cloudy water, new set up. Is this normal??

Will he give you the sand too? That lighting may be enough for shrooms.

Ok. Tank has been up and running for a week and I just put on the protein skimmer and the water is clear. This saturday I'll be picking up 15 pounds of live rock some snails and crabs from somone on craigslist. So now I have to wait for the tank to cycle and then add fish right?? At what point should I make my first water test??
 
Do your 1st test after 24 hours.
 
what check valve can i use to replace the venturi one
