CLOUDY WATER

Yup i do clean them with tap water and also all the Whisper Bio Bags i clean the same way , wtf i never thought about using the same water to clean it off instead , smart and great idea. I really amd getting tired looking at that tank like that , I know it cannot because maybe lacking carbon ... So tomorrow i can try to get the readings ... and post it up , weird thing all the fishes look happier lol...

Haha your issue is likely going to be determined when you run those tests. Wait for the "aha!" moment. You're killing your bacteria! (I can hear them screaming from all the way over here!) Do you know about how the nitrogen cycle works? Here's a handy link... you should read it: http://www.wetwebmedia.com/FWSubWebIndex/fwestcycling.htm

Carbon doesn't really do anything for water clarity... in fact, I don't use it at all unless I'm trying to REMOVE something... like medication, or one time my GT's tank turned pink (who knows? LOL) so I used it to remove the pink-ness. If you're not using it for a specific reason, it really just takes up space where you could put other biological media that you're NOT going to wash in tap water any more!

Pink-ish , and what was your other word ???

Im gonna read that link tomorrow im falling alsleep with laptop on me , i cant do it anymore. Good night and thank u so much ...tomorrow i will post. GOOD NIGHT

Haha I believe it was "greeny-cloudy." Sounds good. Get a good night's rest... tomorrow is sure to be a revolutionary day in the world of fishkeeping.

See now can this be a misleading test ? I mean i know at this level all the fish should be dead , instead they all seem much happier. Still eating and swimming around gracefully .... Why is my level so high ??? I clean my tank , do you think tap water can be the problem ? Can i buy something to lower this down ? If all these listings are right i dont want any dead fish ... This is so weird ....

Can sunlight raise Nitrate levels ? Or give a false test results ? This is really werid because at those levels all the fish should be dead dead dead .... wtf is this crap ...

The first thing I would do is bring a sample of water to your LFS to be tested. Test strips are pretty unreliable, and also don't include an ammonia test. So that's probably the best way to go -- it will give you info you don't have right now, and double-check your results, too.
