I heard from my friend at my lfs that most of them will only eat live food...is that true? The only fish in my tank I feed live food is my needlefish gar. I can't really feed all of my fish live because my 2 8inch pacu eat anything and everything and never get full. So if I put a dozen rosie reds or goldies in they are gone within seconds. So if I could feed the CK frozen chunks of fish or shrimp, that would work best because I can put it directly in the CKs castle and the pacu don't fit in their so it might work. My CK is only about 5 inches, so would I have to chop the small shrimp and fish chunks up? Or will he just tear it apart? How small should I chop? What other beefy foods can I feed it besides shrimp and catfish chunks? Any raw seafood? Please give me some ideas because he hasn't ate in about a week. Do these ever eat dry pellets? What kind and brand? Sorry for all of the questions, but MFK knows everything!
