Main thing is you keep it in the normal position. I have once had an aro like that and kept her for 24 hours in the upright position by putting a piece of eggcrate along the container so that the fish was kept in position with no chance of flipping over...will try to find the thread

good news, he has been in the upright position since last night :D

Koji swears to a pinch of salt in the water to help the fish along...PM Koji about it, may be quicker...

i have a bad experience mixing salt and meds together so i would rather not do it again.

I did it once in a small tank i had and lost most of the fish there, including a small arowana. The store talked to the med company and the result was that when the med was used along with salt it became a poison..
It was probably a rare thing but i dont wanna try it again.

hope you understand what im trying to say :)

Dude - THE ENEMY OF GOOD IS PERFECT. You've already done a wonderful job of helping the fish along. I wouldn't try to tweak it or make it a little better by adding something else, that might bite you in the you-know-what. Great work!

When he looks like he can maneuver well up and down in the water you can start feeding again, just a little bit.

good to hear your ck is getting better
but did you find out what causes it ?? and what med did you use ??
I got two small ck and don't want to lose them so soon (they're only 4")
and the bloody dots, are they gone ?

thanks :)

the blood is going but still some left, it is some kind of bacterial infection but i have no idea what kind or why they are getting it.
I used a med called King British Bacteria Control.
I was taking a better look at him right now and he has almost all his strength back, it was a battle to hold him still :)
