maybe so but, i had a clown loach's in one of my African c.tank and they were doing fine,i bought them when they were about 2-3'' six years later i gave them to my friend, they do tolerate African cichlid life style.ewurm;3153992; said:Loaches don't like hard water

That does not mean your experience ultimately applies and prevails over everyone else. Check the KH and GH. Both variables are far more important than pH. African rift lake cichlids, to your knowledge, prefer hard water but do clown loaches tolerate the high KH and GH as Ewurm had disputed earlier? You can check loach forum for disputed water conditions and how the clown loaches reacted in many cases involving them with these cichlids.CichlidsRool;3156832; said:maybe so but, i had a clown loach's in one of my African c.tank and they were doing fine,i bought them when they were about 2-3'' six years later i gave them to my friend, they do tolerate African cichlid life style.
