Clown loach

I agree. My shoal is much more active since i incresed it from the original three, and now they are all over the tank with almost 20 specimens. I have two cichlids in there as well, but the clowns rule the tank.

Start with as many as you can. You don't need a huge shoal. The beauty of loach keeping is that you can add as you go, and it continues to get better.

heres the best i can at the time thats all 3 of the new ones together. once they get use to the tank and start swiming around ill get some better pics
 
just another example...i just bought #10 and it another 4 bar!!
