Clown Loaches SOOO Expensive Now!!

Far as I understand it our trade has a foreign import of CL's that supplements our domestically bread supply. Correct me if I'm wrong but gas is going up so import costs are probably sky rocketing. I've noticed huge swings in prices for all loaches before. Such is the way with imported fish.
Ever since import of wild caught cichlids tapered off and domestic breeding of all the more prevalent/popular species took off look how much their prices dropped. If CL's had a larger domestic breeder base I'm sure their price would drop... then no one would breed and it would go back up as we've seen with several cichlid species.

Prices on those guys vary for sure. I was trying to sell my 6 for 250 and theres 3 7'' and 3 3-4'' and im not gettin any bites. Well at least from people in the northern CA area
