I kinda thought so, I guess I'll buy 1 or 2 more tomorrow.

The more the better. Get at least two more. I went from 3 to 6 then started aquiring them one by one. With the others, their personality will blossom tenfold.

thanks. just waiting for the LFS to open to purchase 2 more. I;ve been reading that they need atleast a 6x2x2. Like i said I have a 5x2x2. I just hope my group of geos don't clash with the loaches.

I have three CLs in my 75 with my african cichlids. They have been in there for two months and haven't had a single aggression problem. There are a lot of caves for them to hide in but most of the time they are out foraging for food. All of my africans are on the small side (less than 2") except for my jewels, they are 3.5" ea so maybe this is why no problems.

You definately need to get addtl clowns...I made the mistake of getting just one at first and never saw him. After I got the other two they are out all the time.

Definately a great fish with a lot of personality.

how do the clowns do with bichirs? I saw in one of the pictures there were a few with bichirs. I am looking for some bottom dwellers to add but was concerned that they would out compete my senegals for food. My bichirs are rather slow feeders. Any thoughts?

I have 6 4-6" clowns with a ~13" ornate and they do fine together. The loaches are always first to the food, but the bichir isn't starving by any means

I have about 40 clowns and two sen. bichirs. My loaches range from 2-6.5 inches, and the bichirs are 4 and 7 inches. I've never had a problem with them not getting enough food. I tend to watch the tank when I feed usually, just to make sure my others get food. Two banjo cats always hide out under the dead coral skeletons I have, and they fat and happy. If they and my discus are good, then I know the rest are too.

i brought home 3 more loaches and I hope they are happy. 3 are together and it seems like 1 is by itself most of the time. if just swims up and down on the side of the tank.
