Try again. :)

This^^. I killed plenty of fish before finding techniques that work for me. I refuse to admit defeat.

well wurm, my 6-7 incher died :( so i called my lfs owner today and told him to see if he can get me some more of the same size, i told him i would take 3-4 of them.

Shame dude, that sucks. If that one died then something else is definitely wrong. How often do you do water changes? Did your loaches have whitespot or couldn't you see anything physically wrong with them? Were they eating at all and what were you feeding them? Please tell us.

25-30% every 2 weeks for my WC, and yes they had ich. feeding them shrimp and beef heart my tank just has ich in it and i cant get it out. thats what i think, and the loachs cant handle it but all my other fish did

when the loachs died they also got my big rope eel dead and my salvini isnt looking to good eaither

25-30% once a fortnight water change is not enough particularly if you are feeding your fish beefheart and have whitespot.

What are you treating the fish with for whitespot and what is the temp in the tank?

You need to increase your water changes to around 30-60% once a week, even if your clown loaches survived, they would not grow particularly well/fast in a tank that only gets a small once fortnightly water change.

During one of the stages in the whitespots life cycle, the parasites stick to surfaces in the tank- so the first thing you should do is a 50% water change with thorough cleaning of the substrate and sides of the tank and decor to help reduce the parasite levels in the tank.

What are you most recent test results for ammonia, nitrites, nitrates and ph and when did you test the water?

clowns are dead, i have one very last one i a QT right now. all the others died.

during the 2 or so weeks that i had noticed and started treating the whitespot i was doing a 50% water change every other day.

What were you treat the tank with whitespot for plus can you answer the other questions too?

Did the clown loaches only infect the quarentine tank with whitespot or did you get it in your main tank too?

The solution to ich is so simple. Quarantine all new fish and run a UV sterilizer 24/7.

Start over. Go with six medium sized fish. Avoid small ones, they often have internal parasites. When you have had 6 healthy fish for 6 months, then go for more.
