In the first pic? That's an endli.

But I was trippin out because I hadn't noticed the variation in the delhezi color, one is red and the other is more grey. Can't wait to see how that develops.

Amazing man seriously magazine worthy.

Check out red flint sand. Its not red more of a maroon, tan, with black specs really natural looking. It did nothing for my lower jaws but was a really nice sand. I can dig up the info on where i purchased it. With my cheap cell phone pics and glare from the lights i was never able to capture its true appearence.

Search fore duanes threads he used it in allot of his tanks.

And thanks for the heads up about the sand! That's exactly what I need right now, a red ish colored substrate to add into the mix for the tank I'm brainstorming.

When I saw magpies tank and how beautiful Soba the moke looked, I got inspired to give a planted bichir tank another try. J jaws7777

That Teug smile says it all. The current substrate is nice. What is it?
yeah J jaws7777 's red flint river is a good option. Definitely more natural looking.

It looks like that substrate they always use with shrimp tanks... can't recall what that's called...
