Collecting Panama-Knife fish

Knife fish are nocturnal, so don’t expect them to be active during the day. Check with a flashlight at night to see if it is out foraging. This one has elongated body and looks like an electric eel.

I used this piece of hollow wood so it can "hide" but i still see my gymnotus. Theyre mostly blind and see with electricity so it wont know if the glass is see through.

It works really well for mine so far

Yes, knife fish is nearly blind, and use electro navigation to find their way around, but still use eyes to sense day and night so as to be active at night.

Yes, but with time they can learn that feeding time is during the day and might become more active during the day. I know mine has
