Collection update! Mostly Cichla but some others mixed in

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Thanks guys! :D I've been busy with other stuff so I haven't had much time to update pix. I'm going to move some of the bass around as I'm 95% sure that all the cichla in this tank are male....:irked:

Very nice every time I see an update on those Araguaian Azuls they have more and more spangles.

It's weird. Spangling seems to come and go on the other guys but these two are the ones that more consistently keep their spangling. I hope that doesn't change.

Cichla are lookn hot! Simply stunning! I bet its the aro spookn the orino.

Thanks! The thing is, the aro and the orino have always been together and this change didn't happen till I introduced the rays to the tank. Before this, the orino would bully and mouth the aro so not sure how the tables turned. We'll see what happens when I move some fish around.

nice collection of bass. where are the bahia? btw, do all kelberi eventually develop a hump on the head like that? I like fish without the hump more.

The bahia aren't growing very fast so I haven't posted an update of them. I've been tied up with stuff so I haven't been able to dedicated as much time to converting them as I normally would. Now that things have settled, I hope to convert them by the end of the month. Wish me luck!

I believe all male kelberi do eventually develop the hump but I could be wrong....for me, it just screams "give me someone to mate with" and that's what I'm hoping will happen when I put the female in there.
