College,,,give me inspiration and courage.

I'm 25 and in college, doing well after BSing when I was a teenager, now with a GPA around 3.8 and all lined up to transfer to a great university. There are a lot of students at my college that are older, probably only half of people in my classes are made up of teenagers, the rest range anywhere in age from 20's to 60's.
All you really have to do is go to class, do the work, and take advantage of all the programs schools offer now (mine has free tutoring and all teachers have office hours where they will help). I am also enjoying it much more this time around. Good luck!

Hey you can do it, I went back to college when I was 30 and finished when I was 34. Was working full time like you from 8-5, there were a number of people in their 30's in my classes since they were in the evenings. I enjoyed it and am very glad I went back - made a big difference in the job I was able to move to and the $ I make ;) I used to think, man I'll be 35 before I finish my degree - then someone said to me, "well you're gonna be 35" whether you have a degree or not so what are you waiting for? Go for it!!

Don't say that! I'm in the same exact boat as you, I want to go back to school, I'm just not sure if I can do it, too many distractions for me. The last thing I'd want to do is sign up and goof off, I've done it before. Keep us posted

yeah true,,,,,,,,,my thing is I was hoping to meet someone soon and move on with a family life and get a new truck and so on.....

Now I feel ripped because I gotta face this now, and for my age most will admit Ive been through an awful lot of hard times, still have bounced back, I guess I just thought Ive graduated a bit in life to get to live the life I wanted right now but I just don't want to be so limited in jobs.


I cant thank you guys enough for the comments and encouragement, its looking like Im going to do it. Just prepping my mind and courage lol.
