In your guys opinions and experience, what is the best color enhancing food you have used?

Hikarki carnivorious sinking pellets really put beautiful color on the oscars I took care! And it was a nice alternative from feeders :) I also noticed using hikarki sinking wafers for the catfish and plecos, the plecos really had nice coloring to. Like, these plecos by far have the best color from what I have seen in pet stores. Overall, Hikarki lol

I personally think Hikari is a great brand. Its cheap, comes in bulk, carnivores love it, and really does enhance colors in most fish especially the red color. BUT if we are talking about pure color enhancing, NLS wins hands down. Some of my datnoids take hikari and some take NLS, the NLS has given my one datnoid that takes strictly NLS a beautiful gold base. Not to mention NLS has so much great ingredients in it compared to Hikari. Don't get me wrong Hikari is great, but if money wasn't an issue and all my fish would take NLS I would strictly use NLS.

I chose both Hikari Gold (although i use Massivore) as well as NLS... the reason being that even after using both for a few months i didn't notice too much difference in brands effect on my fish...

I went with hikari gold, but I also use NLS which im happy with also.

Yeppers, hikari gold for sure. I have them all but the staple is hikari gold. Also krill gives good colour.

The best color enhancing food I have ever used, is food I prepare myself. It depends on what the species of fish you're rearing eats in the wild. Fresh is best, if you can find the time to do it. I'm not a big fan of store-bought, prepared foods.

NLS here.
