Color manipulated Arowanas?

yes they are some arowana with dyed in them it sad...

At 1 of my LFS they have them...

Its not a good practice to use on a fish but your right the red arowanas are like $2000. But if I can save $1950 hell I'm all for it lol. Just like that song fish don't have any feelings

wow, blueberry and stawberry arowana. huh. we desperately need access to some asians in this country. aside from all the other issues, arowanas are supposed to be some bad ass fishes. something's not right about having a "strawberry" arowana.
 
Personally never liked dyed fish either, and those arowana look pretty awful imo... Having seen Gold, red, green, platinum and black up close those dont even come close to what im guessing they are trying to replicate...

Nirvana - Something in the Way?
Fish do too have feelings, maybe not in the way we do, but you bet if you shot them up full of color dye, they'd feel it.

I hate dyed fish. The concept is awful. Last time I saw wild fish, I thought they were beautiful enough as they were. Not to mention, the practice is horrible.
