Color manipulated Arowanas?

I've never heard of them being dyed but when i got my silver arowana it was 2" long and kinda pink in color and it quickly grew outta that....at the fish store i go to that has baby aros they all kind of pink

How exactly are fish dyed, or tattooed? I mean, I don't think a fish is just going to lay there while being tattooed...how does it it work?

What a waste of a perfectly good fish. The painted aro looks like crap compared to the un colored one in the video

I've seen these before. my lfs labels them as strawberry arowana.
