I love the idea of the rams, cories, and pristellas. I think they will work out well for you. I would keep an eye on the tetras though, they look like they could be some fin nippers.
I did that to start but there is so much info that goes against what other people or other sites say. When in doubt; go Monster that's exactly what I do! lol

I love the way lemon tetras look once they color up. You could also use Pristella Tetras if you lik the way they look. I have a nice group of Serpae Tetras as a contrast I like the deep red once they become comfortable in the tank. Just remember to get a group as many tetras are fin nippers and angels make great targets. In a group tetras interact with each other and leave other fish alone.
thanks for the advice on that tom. What would you say be a good size group? 10-12 be okay? I would like the red color in there to it i will be lacking with the reds!
+1 on lemon tetras - they get a really sharp yellow once settled with clean water. I've always heard serpae tetras were fin nippers, but if Tom says they work, listen to him. I always defer to Tom/Aquanero. look into rainbows too - lots of different colors to choose from and they are active & peaceful. Good pick up on the angels too.
