Got any pics?

I knew you were going to ask lol They're scattered in folders all over my hard drive. I really need to put them in a folder called "sand" to save myself time.
Here ya go, there's several (all the sand is 'S' grade):

Thanks. I like the way that the brown looks actually. I bought a bag of brown though and it is way darker than that.

I wish my brown *was darker. It looked darker in the bag and in their samples. It might be the lighting making it look lighter. I'd love to find dark gray somewhere.

I pre rinsed till water ran clear.. added to NEW tank.. after each water change I am left with a dark line across tank where I had stopped the "change".. water is also cloudy after 2 weeks.
What to do?
Thank you

I had film that showed up on the surface of the water when I first put it in the tank. I used newspaper and layed it on the surface of the water to remove the film. You can also use newspaper to wipe off the "dark line" inside your tank. This film stopped appearing after 4 water changes, stirring the sand up each time. I didnt put any fish in until it was all gone.

The cloudyness could be due to a bacterial bloom, but you didn't mention if you have fish in it already. I didnt have cloudiness from the colorquartz.

The oily residue wipes right off, it shouldn't last very long. I added colorquartz to my tank a few weeks ago, the cloudiness was gonna after a WC or two.
